1981 Corvette Stingray Review

My second car as a teenager was a 1981 Corvette Stingray. It had a 5.7 L V8 engine. As you can see from the picture above, it was black with red leather interior. Compared to today’s standards, the car is not very fast. The car produced over 300 horsepower, but it was really heavy. The pop-up headlights were really cool, but they had issues with going up and down due to age. Beside the rumble of the engine, my favorite thing about the car was the t-tops. I was able to quickly remove the roof on a sunny day. Towards the end of my experience with the car, I started experiencing electrical problems. The battery would consistently go dead is the car was not started at least once a day.
