The 5th Avenue Car Show
The 5th Avenue Car Show was this weekend in Naples, Florida. I was told by the owner of The Corvette Store in Pompano Beach that it is the largest car show in Florida. There were eight blocks filled with 100s of rare exotics and vintage cars.
The left side of the street is vintage Ferrari’s and the right side of the street is new Ferraris
An extremely rare Mercedes Benz 300 SLR
An original Mustang Shelby GT 350
The Back To The Future Car
This beautiful vintage Ferrari was amongst my favorites at the show
A Ferrari Enzo was a highlight at the show. Only 399 were ever produced
The brand new 2012 McLaren. This car’s direct competition is the Ferrari Italia.
The brand new Corvette was modified to look like a 1960s Stingray
Love these gorgeous cars! We have a car show like this in a town nearby me where they line them up just like this and you can look at the interiors and what not. Looks like a fun one!
Beautiful pictures. The Ferrari’s are really neat, but I’m a sucker for the classic muscle car. My favorite is definitely the Shelby.
good lord those are beautiful
ohhh…I’m forwarding a link to my dad, he will love this…
So funny to see the “Back to the Future car” among the classics…
Gorgeous pix!
🙂
that mustang is perfection.
Think that the biggest in Florida – judging by the number of cars entered might be the Lake Mirror Classic

Gasp! My semi-realistic dream car (the Mustang Shelby GT350) is looking fabulous as ever! There were some wonderful cars at that show.
I really like vintage cars, they’re like works of art.
Love the pony cars!!! Great post.
If only there was a ‘love!’ button
It is so cool! Love your pictures. PS: I have a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice.
I ran out of adjectives to use in my head to describe how awesome these cars looked.

I saw way too much red and not enough 1934 Ford coupes.

So hard to choose, but the Shelby would look perfect in my garage. Nice pics!
I can just imagine strolling along with a beautiful , shiny vehicle every few steps… How wonderful, and some of them are really the stuff dreams are made of. I’m a recent convert to the beauty of the classic car, with a boyfriend that is a real petrolhead, but I’ve always loved a beautiful car. 🙂

I love to see the old classics like the 300 SLR in the same post as the Enzo. There’s just something about seeing how far the technology has evolved that’s really beautiful. Great post, hope to read more!
My dad use to drag me to these all the time, but now i actually appreciate them! Great pics!

My favorite is the Hemi Roadrunner. It probably doesn’t compare to the Ferrari’s, but it hits close to home for me. I owned one back in the ’70’s. Not as nice as this one though.
Love the Mercedes 300slr.i also own one and I am looking to contact the owner for some history .could he post the thoroughbred motors number as I am trying to find out how many they made.mine is number 29
Thanks
Mike
I don’t know the owner, but good luck. It is a beautiful car!
